Michele Ryan -
Owner / Instructor / Choreographer Owned and founded Studio 1 Dance Center and Dance Express Performing Dance Company in Pennsylvania, est. 1991. In 2003 to present, she founded Studio 1 Dance Center and Platinum Coast Dance Company in Naples, Florida. She taught and performed professionally by the age of 17 and has now worked with top choreographers as well as choreographing for many organizations. Certified through Dance Masters, Dance Educators of America and International Fitness. Michele Ryan competed nationally and has performed lead rolls in many dance and touring theatre productions around the states. She performed in commercials, concert venues and music videos with many top professional recording artists such as Whitney Huston, 2 Unlimited, Crystal Waters, B2K, Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch, David Copperfield, XTASI, Marc Anthony, Cuban Pete, Cher, Neil Young and many more. Michele's work and students have been featured at NASCAR, The Pennsylvania Choreographers Showcase, Edison Supper Club, NYC, MTV, VH-I, Las Vegas shows, Theme parks, NYC KNICKS and 76er’s Dance Team, ESPN, The Bowl Games of America, NFL Cheerleaders, On and Off Broadway, and The Miss Pennsylvania and Naples Pageants. Along with broadcast on National and International Television. Most recent, her past students credits include, NYC Rockett, Hannah Montana show, Sesame Place, Off and On Broadway shows, Theme parks, NBA dance teams, Professional Dance Companies in NYC, LA and Vegas. Music Videos, College Dance Teams and owners of their own dance programs. Michele was chosen as The Women Entrepreneur Merit Award winner and The National Register's Who's Who in Executives and Professional 2000-2002 Washington D.C. Editions, Michele guest teaches all over the state, and is a Dance Judge for competitions. Michele has received her training from top instructors in NYC, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Las Vegas and Miami. Michele continues to perform and studies at Broadway Dance Center and Steps in NYC. Michele Ryan is choreographer and instructor for High School Dancelines and has lead many to superior ratings. Michele Ryan and Studio 1 Dance Center have been featured in national dance magazines such as "Dance Studio Life" and "Dance Teacher". She is known for her unlimited energy, uplifting attitude and passion to teach and challenge her students. Michele has two dogs and three cats, all rescued, Mikki, Gator, Simba, Vanilla and Sundown. |

Jenna Blair
(Instructor) Jenna is a junior at Florida Gulf Coast University and is from the Tampa Bay area. Her
major is Liberal studies with plans to work in real-estate and property management for
an off campus housing facility for college students. Her dream is to also own her own
dance studio someday.

Melissa Buckley (Instructor) Melissa is entering her fourth year under Michele Ryan. Melissa began her dance training at the age of two. She is very dedicated, disciplined and has qualities of an excellent demonstrator and assistant. Melissa is a member of our Platinum Coast Dance Company. She is in the teacher-training program and will graduate in 1 year. Melissa is a Junior this year and is an achiever in school as well as dance. She is involved in many after-school programs. Melissa is also apart of Clubs such as S.A.D.D (students against destructive decisions) and on the Honor Roll. Melissa's disciplines are in Tap, Hip-Hop, Jazz, Lyrical, Ballet/Pointe, Latin/Salsa, and Musical Theatre. She had successful auditions with The Bowl Games of America, she placed in the national dance convention and competition URBAN JAMM, made nationals, The Pulse On Tour, made invites to NYC, attended The Wild Dance Intensive in Miami, studied with many guest teachers and choreographers and has performed in many shows, events and charity organizations. Melissa's respect, discipline, dedication and responsibility to her own classes, her teaching's and the students she assists makes her an excellent choice for a positive dance Assistant and Instructor. Melissa also has a younger brother named Matt, a Fish named Blue, and a puppy named Havana.lissa also has a younger brother and a Fish named Blue. |

Zoë Brown - Demonstrator / Assistant Zoë is beginning her second year with Michele Ryan. Zoë began dance at the age of three. She has been trained in a variety of dance genres, including Jazz, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Latin Jazz / Salsa, and Ballet. Zoë's favorite type of dance is Lyrical. She began dancing with Michele last summer. This past year she attended and performed at The Wild Dance Convention in Miami, is a member of Platinum Coast Dance Company and performed at many charity events and dance shows. Zoë also attended dance workshops with top instructors in Hip-Hop, Jazz and Lyrical. Zoë has a great deal of experience instructing young girls as she has organized and managed dance camps for girls ages 3-9 yr. olds. Zoë was picked for the teacher training program due to her commitment, determination and drive in everything she does. Zoë is also active in the theatre and is accomplished in school studies. She has an older sister who is the Naples High School dance line captain for the 2008 football season. |

Marissa Buck - Assistant Teacher / Demonstrator
Marissa started dance at an early age, she studies Ballet, Pointe, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Hip-Hop and Salsa/Latin Jazz. Marissa is under the direction of Michele Ryan, since 2003 and started assisting in 2006. Marissa has the talent, responsibility, dedication, caring attitude and a passion to help others. Her goal is to be the best she can be and give 100% in class, performing, and assisting. Marissa also assist her peers with any help they may need. These qualities make Marissa an excellent choice for the teacher-training program. Marissa is a member of our Platinum Coast Dance Company. She had successful auditions with The Bowl Games of America, she placed in national dance conventions and competitions and made nationals. Most recently she was invited to perform at The Wild Dance Convention in Miami. Marissa studied with many guest teachers and choreographers and has performed in many shows, events and charity organizations. Marissa has talent, responsibility, dedication, caring attitude and a passion to perform, teach and to help others. Marissa is a Junior Leader with Collier County Parks and Recs Summer Camp. Marissa also excels in school, she has been on the honor roll continuously and she also enjoys drawing and painting. Marissa’s mom and dad are also Studio 1 volunteers for shows and events. Marissa has a sister Cassidy and a one dog, Sophie and a cat named Gracie. |
